Regions Hospital Imo: Nigeria’s Best Medical Facility and the Truth About South East

For the past four years, there have been a conscious and conscientious effort to demarket South East Alaigbo as the hotbed of insecurity. Unfortunately, a lot of our own people have bought this jaundiced narrative hook, line and sinker.

However, some of us know this narrative is a big lie! Events are no way near how they paint it.

But, I have not been able to find the right scenario to counter this lie till last two weeks a friend told me a surprising tale of a hospital in Imo State.

I never knew that the best hospital currently in Nigeria is located in Imo State.

Last week Friday, Ikolomuo Media went to see and confirm this huge medical edifice in Alaigbo. We traveled from Nnewi to Owerri.

Incidentally, there were people coming from farther places. Actually, from all over the world for Medicare in this hospital. Imagine meeting a man that came all the way from UK for his dear wife to be treated?

Tell me, is there any better example of Aku Ruo Ulo? Regions Healthcare Hospitals and Specialist Clinics has shown the way.

People from UK, Europe, America who want to avoid the usual medical bureaucratic bottleneck their medical systems are attendant with now fly into Nigeria to receive fast, efficient and world class medical care.

Regions Hospital has defied and debunked the fact that insecurity is making it impossible for infrastructural development to thrive in the East.

I repeat, this development debunks and punctures any argument that South East is unsafe for investment.
