THE BIOGRAPHY OF CHIEF CHIKA EMENIKE (OJICHUKWU NNEWI); C.E.O OF TUMMY TUMMY FOODS
Chief Chika Emenike (Ojichukwu Nnewi) is the founding Chairman and CEO of Kotec Group of Companies. He was born on 23rd July 1969 in Amanator Ozuakoli Urualla in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, to the family of late Chief and Mrs. Alexander Emenike.
Young Chika had his early education in Urualla and Nnewi in the 1980s. Being born at a time when entrepreneurship and apprenticeship was the popular demand at that time. Young Chika Emenike left his town when he was 10 to serve his uncle in Nnewi. He served his uncle in the business of trading automobile spare parts. He served his uncle for over 7 years before he was settled.
It was at the age of 20, that he started his own business in the line of trading automobiles’ spare parts. He started under the name Chitec Motors Nigeria Limited.
From selling the spare parts, he diversified into other businesses in a bid to grow his resources and also to contribute to the economic growth of Nnewi, Anambra and Nigeria at large. His most popular brand is the Tummy Tummy Foods, which he started in 2009, with noodles as the first food product.
He started his trading business over twenty years ago under the name Chitec Motors Nig. Ltd. His passion for business growth led to the emergence of Kotec Group of Companies Limited, incorporated in 2001 as a holding company.
Kotec Group of Companies Limited has several successful subsidiaries.

His manufacturing company and head office is located in Nnewi and both his motorcycle spare parts and noodles brand can be seen across the different parts of the country.
It will be of interest to note that Chief Chika Emenike has contributed immensely to the development of our National Economy, as he has successfully given employment to over three thousand Nigerians in his factories and trading outfits.
As a selfless man, Chief Chika Emenike (Ojichukwu Nnewi) has helped a lot of individuals to establish their own businesses by either assisting them financially or by introducing them to his foreign partners. He has also sponsored and empowered many projects and programs of organizations, groups and individuals who have noble ideas but lack the financial muscles to prosecute them.
As he is devout member of the Roman Catholic Church, Chief Chika Emenike belongs to so many pious associations. His membership of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement of Nigeria stands out. He is also the patron of so many other pious societies.
Chief Chika Emenike’s hobbies include: Jogging, reading the word of God and relaxing with friends. He is happily married to the love of his life, Lolo Prisca Emenike and the marriage is blessed with children.
As a socialite, he belongs to so many clubs and associations among which are: Kotec Warriors Sports Club Nnewi, Diamond Fitness Club Lagos, Nnewi Sports Club, Owerri Sports Club, Urualla Sports Club etc.
In recognition of his positive contributions to the society, Chief Chika Emenike has received so many awards and titles both within and outside the country.
In 2022, the National Productivity Order of Merit Award was conferred on Chief Chika Emenike (Ojichukwu Nnewi) among 46 others in both private and public sectors, for their high productivity, hard work and excellence at the 19th National Productivity Day.
