“Anambra’s Foris Labs Takes Virtual Science Labs to New Heights at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023”

Foris Labs, a startup based in Onitsha, Anambra, has achieved recognition as a finalist in the TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield Competition. This innovative company was co-founded by John Onuigbo, a graduate of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Uli, and Kyrian Obikwelu, an undergraduate at the Federal University of Technology in Owerri.

The core focus of Foris Labs is to provide a gamified virtual science laboratory platform that empowers students to engage in practical science experiments from the comfort of their mobile devices or desktop computers. This platform offers a lifelike laboratory experience and can be used by individual students or groups.

Currently, Foris Labs is in the process of deploying its products to schools throughout Anambra State for the purpose of beta testing. Prior to this, they successfully conducted testing with a select group of secondary school students.

TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, September 19 to Thursday, September 21 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. This event serves as an exciting opportunity for Foris Labs to showcase its innovative solutions on a global stage
