Onitsha Twitter Business Hangout, 2023
Yesterday being the 9th of July, 2023,young people within Onitsha and Anambra state converged at CJ Patterson hall, located within the famous All Saints Cathedral Anglican Church, Anambra state for the second edition of Onitsha Twitter Business Hangout.
Onitsha Twitter Business Hangout is aimed towards bringing business people, entrepreneurs and traders within Onitsha and Anambra state at large together, to discuss about doing business in the city and state, the challenges, what we’re doing right, what we’re not doing right and the way forward.
There are always panelists in the event, who are people who have over the years achieved success in their various endeavours. For the 2023 edition of the hangout, the panelists were Mr Okeke Celestine( ED of Strands Foundation), Engineer Happiness Akabuike(Founder 3ges global communication) , Mr Olusegun Sogbesan(Facilitator of Onitsha Business School) , Chief Anietonwa Ajulufo(Managing Partner of Susseto group) and Mr Don Ebubeagu(Managing Director of Tiger Foods LTD).
The event started with an opening speech by Mr Ifeanyichukwu Ogbaji who is the brain behind Onitsha Twitter Business Hangout. After that, Mr Udeagbala Chukwubuikem and Miss Chimamkpam Nwaneri who were the hosts took over the stage and hit the event running, after they invited the panelists to the stage.
So many ideas were shared by the panelists, they talked about their journies to success and the challenges they’ve encountered doing business, especially in Onitsha, Anambra State.
The theme of the event was FORCE(Focus, Ownership, Resilience, Collaboration and Execution). These five words were discussed extensively, pointing out why and how every business must apply FOCUS, OWNERSHIP, RESILIENCE, COLLABORATION and EXECUTION properly to achieve success in every business.
It was indeed a knowledge and information packed event, as the panelists revealed so many secrets to success in business, especially in Onitsha and the attendees who were mostly youths and also into different aspects of businesses and entrepreneurship were so happy to add those information to the knowledge they already have. They also threw important questions at the panelists, which they all answered.
All the attendees networked, had fun, gained knowledge and all went home happy and can’t also wait for the next edition of the event.
