AMVCA 2025 Cultural Night: A Celebration of African Fashion and Heritage
The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2025 kicked off in grand style with its much-anticipated Cultural Night on May 9, 2025, and it was nothing short of a fashion extravaganza. From rich African fabrics to bold accessories and regal elegance, this year’s celebration of heritage and style truly raised the bar.
Celebrities like Yemi Cregx, Liquorose, Uche Jombo, Stan Nze, BamBam and Ramsey Nouah turned heads with their bold and stunning interpretations of African traditional wear. It was a night where fashion became storytelling — a visual expression of African identity and pride.
But beyond the glamour was recognition: ₦1 million cash prizes were awarded to the best-dressed male and female, and the winners truly lived up to the hype.
Meet the Best-Dressed Stars of the Night:
- Liquorose Afije stole the show in a shimmering blue Aso-oke piece by Prudential Atelier, complete with coral beads, layered ruffles, and a bold bird-inspired headpiece — a perfect blend of Yoruba cultural essence and modern fashion.
- Prince Nelson Enwerem represented royalty with a striking Benin-inspired ensemble from House of Vieve, reflecting the opulence and power of his heritage with a commanding presence.
Both walked away with ₦1 million each, courtesy of Goldberg, for their breathtaking outfits — and the internet hasn’t stopped buzzing since.
