There are some strange and unique similarities between the two most prominent Igbo leaders with cult followership.

Here are five of these similarities.

1. Both of them have residences and strong filial root in UK. The same country many Ndi Igbo mock and accuse of creating Nigeria as British Company. These two leaders Ndi Igbo look up to love Britain so much that they have their back-up houses in their domain. This means they trust the same Britain with their lives and future.

2. Both of them came into limelight on the platform given to them by two Nnewi scions. Peter came into limelight using Ikemba Nnewi’s political party, APGA. Nnamdi came into limelight via Ikenga Nnewi’s movement IPOB.

3. Both of them are avowed worshippers of Abrahamic religion. Peter is an ardent Christian while Nnamdi is an ardent Jew. Their love for the whiteman religion is legendary and almost fanatical. Again, the same Whiteman their followers detest.

4. Both of them are usually underestimated at first glance.

5. Both of them like to quote statistics.

Despite their strong similarities, both of them are taking Ndi Igbo to two different paths. May the best man win!
