Erosion Menace At Mbaneze Community Nnewichi, Nnewi || Honourable Augustine Ike Pays Visit To The Community
Today being the 6th of November, 2024, the Honourable representing Nnewi North at Anambra state house of assembly, Hon. Augustine Ike (Ike Edoji) visited Mbaneze, a community in Nnewichi, Nnewi that’s under a serious erosion threat.
The small community have been battling this erosion, making every effort to put it in check, but the situation keeps getting worse. They’ve been crying out for help and today, they got a big relief with the visit of Honourable Ike Edoji, as it’s a sign that help is about to come.
The Honourable was given a tour around the erosion sites by ;

Many houses are under the threat of the erosion, including Victory Anglican Church. The honourable sympathized with the community and assured that he will submit the community’s request for erosion control to the necessary ministries and follow it up.
The letter of request was signed by the necessary people in the community and handed over to Hon. Augustine Onyekachukwu Ike who is to forward it to the necessary ministries. He also signed in acceptance of the letter before leaving with them.
The community stays hopeful and optimistic.
